Terrariums Are Back!

For all you green-fingered millennials, there is news! Terrariums are back and how! They are an amazing way to grow delicate plants indoors, which require a very moist atmosphere, warmth and complete freedom from draughts. Minigardens based in Dubai, offer inspiring options to get the green into your home.

Terrariums offer a connection between gardening and nature, allowing us to reconnect with nature in limited urban spaces. MiniGardens is a boutique, indoor plant and floral design studio in Dubai, that boasts of an engaging collection of live, bespoke plant and floral creations that are primarily sustainable, promoting the concept of natural decoration for our homes and offices; easy to care for and low on maintenance.

The focus is on designing unique live indoor blooming flower (orchids) and garden features including custom indoor landscape packages to suit any budget for gifts & for residential and commercial projects.

Dubai resident (since 1999) and owner of MiniGardens, Nina Engineer says, “We use only the finest living plants with floral blooms, small trees and drought resistant succulent plants. Our first task was to conduct a long regional research of the market and conclude as to which live creations work best in this climate zone. We then created hundreds of arrangements and subjected them to drought resistant tests; our findings were astounding, most of our succulents survived and even grew without water for 6 weeks. “

The MiniGardens philosophy … you imagine, we create, and they take it very seriously!
