Healthy, Delish and Wholesome!

…is what Sophie’s Café Dubai is all about! Located in the Metro Central Hotel in Barsha, it has ample of parking and is a spacious sunlit café, perfect for a leisurely healthy breakfast or a wholesome meal on the go.

Start your morning with a yummy Matcha latte or a Golden Turmeric latte; or if tea is what you love to start your morning on an energetic note, organic gunpowder tea is a must try! If you prefer going herbal there are options like Chamomile Blossom or Organic Ginger Breeze, along with many more choices of hot or cold drinks like smoothies, health shots and fresh juices.

Expect healthy bowls of goodness like the Acai bowl, Homemade Granola, Rolled Oat Porridge, and sweet treats like Banana-oat power pancakes along with a number of eggy options. Go healthy with the Vegan breakfast that has home-style beans, sautéed mushrooms, grilled tomato, asparagus, sautéed spinach and avocado.

The vast selection of gluten free, dairy free and vegan treats on offer is perfect for those who love to take charge of their health.

We tried the Acai Bowl, superfood at its delicious best! Beautifully presented it is a treat for the eyes and the body. The sweet, guilt-free bowl is packed with the wholesome goodness of acai, banana, and berries topped with dollops of peanut butter and crunchy homemade granola.

The egg white garden omelette that we tried is packed with greens and fresh veggies and comes with freshly baked farmer’s bread and butter and a grilled tomato!

If you prefer to go light, you can skip the breakfast and just pick up a delightful smoothie. We tried the Chocolate peanut butter smoothie made from cacao, peanut butter, banana, dates, and almond milk. This super-chocolaty smoothie is a delicious non-dairy option. Dates offer richness and a caramel-like sweetness–naturally–while increasing energy and creamy dollops of peanut butter add that boost of healthy fats to help you feel full.

The Rise and Shine smoothie is made from bananas, dates, cinnamon, gluten free oats, chia seeds and almond milk. Healthy, vegan, dairy-free, you will want to drink this every day of the week!

After heaving a lovely healthy start to our day, we decided to indulge in the simple, moist, delightful carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. The delicious dessert options placed in glass jars were beckoning us and we gave in to the temptation and we must say, we were glad we did!

The café is well laid out and you can sit unobtrusively without being overwhelmed by other guests and the service is friendly yet non-intrusive, which is a big plus!
